I’ve had a few people ask what I used to block YouTube Ads. If you are NOT running a Pi-hole, this combination might work for you.

- Use this Chromium browser plugin – https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/adblock-for-youtube/cmedhionkhpnakcndndgjdbohmhepckk/
I’ve heard that the above plugin might not work well when you use it with Google’s Chrome, but that just make sense. It might break a few times, but then they release an update for it and it’s back to no more ads in YouTube.
But if you want the simplest way to block all types of ads, including on YouTube, think about adding a Pi-hole to your network. I’ve almost forgot what ads look like. Honestly, I’m not kidding. Look at the examples below. A Pi-hole is also great for blocking tracking.
